Artist's statement

I work primarily with photography, text and audio. My landscape images have been described as digital printmaking, and are an experimental hybrid of historical and contemporary media and technology. My texts and audio-based works are derived from the editing and completion of these images, and are an attempt to interpret their meanings, while describing their often elusive resources and references. Frequently these texts become an extended daydream or reverie, springing from the completion of an artwork. Major research topics include narrative, metaphor, rhythm and synchronicity.
