Leading Wellbeing Conversations
Course Description:
Aimed at line managers, this half day session is designed to give an overview of the mental health and wellbeing issues you may face in the workplace. A manual is shared with relevant information; tips; wellbeing tools and a resource directory for other organisations.

This course involves peer to peer learning. Please be aware that, for the benefit of all participants, participation in small breakout groups is part of this online course. Please ensure you join in an environment that allows you to speak out loud.
As part of the enrolment procedure, all participants are asked to register their details in order to receive the training manual in time for the course. The training manual is essential to the course and would need the postal address for physical delivery.

Objectives:
Leading Wellbeing Conversations course will:
  • Give managers a greater understanding of mental health and wellbeing issues
  • Help them recognise when colleagues may need further help and support
  • Provide practical tools for promoting positive wellbeing in the workplace to help build resilience for ourselves as managers and for colleagues
  • Offer guidance and advice for how managers can connect with colleagues who may be experiencing a mental health or wellbeing issues
  • Equip managers with practical tools, a resource pack and signposting to further help and support concerning mental health and wellbeing issues.
