Course Description:
We are pleased to offer you this half day Working at Height (PASMA) Certificated Training course.
If you are responsible for assembling, dismantling, alterating, moving or inspecting mobile access towers you must be trained and competent to do so. Attendance at this practical instructor led course will enable you to safely erect, move, inspect and dismantle various types of Mobile Access Towers.
You are required to bring with you to the training event:
- Your own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in the form of safety helmet, boots and gloves
- National Insurance Number in order to receive the PASMA certificate and ID card
Before attending the training, you should refer to the Health Checklist to confirm that you are fit to undertake this training (you can access this via MyLearning).
Please note refreshments will not be provided, however you can bring along your own take away coffee.

Objectives: Attendance at this course will give you an awareness of the following.- Legislation, regulations and guidance affecting working at height with mobile access towers
- The PASMA Code of Practice
- Product Standards EN 1004:2004, assembling, alterating and dismantling towers incorporating current best practice for fall protection, inspection of completed mobile access towers and completion of Tower Inspection Records
- Hazards affecting the use of mobile access towers and how to avoid them
