To access MyHR and MyLearning, you will need to use the UCL VPN or Desktop@UCL.

The booking system is open to anyone with an active UCL userID (e.g. ucccabc). The system requires a training profile on MyHR to allocate your place:

• If you use MyHR or MyFinance, you will already have a training profile to enrol.
• For all other users, please wait for five minutes after selecting enrol and do not refresh your page. A training profile will be created for you. After this, future enrolments will be quicker.

Risk Assessment Workshop 2 Risk and Control Measures
Course Description: This virtual instructor-led course will help staff to develop skills in assessing the risks associated with their workplace and complete a suitable and sufficient risk assessment. This is workshop 2 of a 3-part series comprising of the entire risk assessment course. It is recommended that you complete all 3 workshops to equip you with all the necessary skills to conduct a risk assessment. It is recommended that you also complete workshop 1 of the risk assessment training series before attending this course. If you have any issues with booking on the Risk Assessment Workshops please email safetytraining@ucl.ac.uk by sending us a copy of your completed eLearning certificate called 'Principles of Risk Assessment' and we will endeavour to book your place. IMPORTANT: Once you have enrolled, please check that you have received a confirmation email from MyLearning. You will also receive an email with a joining link at least one day before the session. Courses start on the hour but please join during the 5 minutes prior to this to download resources and test out your connection/audio.
Objectives: By the end of the course, you will be able to do the following: Evaluate the risk associated with hazards using the risk matrix Apply the hierarchy of control when determining control measures to put in place Determine the residual risk after control measures have been put in place
Intended Audience: All staff, managers, postgraduates.
