Practising being more assertive - Part 2
Course Description:

This is Part 2 of a 2-part series on Assertiveness.

This bite-sized practical session will support you in exploring healthy and unhealthy assertiveness in different scenarios that we often come across at UCL.

This session (Part 2) is designed to build on the techniques introduced in the Essential skills for Being More Assertive - Part 1 course. You are advised to attend Part 1 before Part 2, however it is not mandatory as we will recap on the key learning points from Part 1, and then put those learnings into practice. You will however be required to work through the pre-reads provided so that you come prepared to engage with the group.

Objectives:

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

- Practice the application of assertiveness techniques in the context of different scenarios.

- Reflect on these techniques and explore how you may apply them in your role at UCL.
