Managing Up
Course Description:

This course involves peer to peer learning. Please be aware that, for the benefit of all participants, participation in small breakout groups is part of this online course. Please ensure you join in an environment that allows you to speak out loud and fully interact with other course participants. A short, anonymous, pre-attendance survey will be used to understand challenges and inform session focus.

This online bitesize course will introduce you to strategies for having more productive outcomes with senior stakeholders where time is of the essence and differences in personalities and working preferences are at play.

This session will cover:

  • Gain insight into differences in working preferences

  • Reflect on your own approaches

  • Strategies to help you adapt how you approach stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes

  • Broaden your perspective

  • Focus on what you can do

  • Share tools that might help

  • Learn from each other
