Arranging delivery with UCL’s Courier Services
Before you start
Keep in mind requirements change if you’re sending items within UCL or from UCL to elsewhere.
The team arrange to collect the item/s from your office location, obtain quotes from the couriers and arrange despatch from the Logistics Hub for you.
We offer an external courier service, and an ‘internal’ UCL shuttle service between UCL sites. Departments will be billed monthly for external courier usage. The Internal shuttle service does not incur a charge.
For external shipments you will need:
• To know the dimensions and weight of the parcel(s) you are having delivered.
• To know the Project Task and Award numbers so your department can pay for the service as well as the ‘approvers’ name.
• To know the full collection and delivery address and contact details for the sender and recipient.
• Please note incomplete information will delay your request.
For the internal shuttle service you will need:
• To know the dimensions and weight of the parcel(s) you are having delivered.
• To know the full collection and delivery address and contact details for the sender and recipient.

- 1. Complete the request form
Fill out the form for either internal or external courier work, depending on what you require.
- 2. Courier collection/Drop off
The Mail services team will arrange collection/delivery from or to your office.
- 3. Your department will be billed per item
Departments will be billed once a month for any courier services rendered.
