Key objectives
Kickstarting the largest ever expansion of co and extra-curricular experiences at UCL, in areas such as sport, the arts and volunteering, the Student Life strategy is the outcome of joint work and collaboration between UCL and the Students’ Union to strengthen the experience of students. Led by the Union’s Sabbatical Officers, students have helped to shape the priorities set out across the new UCL Strategy and have also worked with UCL colleagues to develop a specific strategy which focuses on the long-term development of the UCL student experience.
The new strategy will see an expansion of Students’ Union UCL’s effective model of engagement, with significant additional investment each year enabling the Students’ Union to empower thousands of student leaders to deliver exceptional experiences for their peers. This will significantly enhance the extra and co-curricular offer at UCL. It raises the bar for student experience in sport, arts, volunteering, departmental engagement, and events, ensuring they can truly make the most out of their time at UCL.
