Pregnancy Genomics and Data Group

Our group seeks to leverage cutting edge genomic techniques in conjunction with carefully phenotyped datasets to better understand the mechanisms that lead to pregnancy complications such as pre eclampsia, fetal growth restriction and preterm birth and to apply techniques where possible to LMIC settings. 

A critical part of the work is aimed at translating and implementing results in the clinical setting so our group focuses on human studies and development of clinical tools that can assist in this setting. A key focus is on translation in varied, in particular low and middle income settings.
