The Baytree Science Club (BSC) is organised by Dr Brigitte Meunier (Wolfson Institute for Biomedical Research, UCL). It is run with the help from several scientists at UCL, including Dr Cristiana Velloso (Royal Free Hospital), Dr Astrid Wingler (Department of Biology) and Dr Anna Need (Department of Biology). Recently colleagues from King’s College have joined the UCL team.

Dr Brigitte Meunier is a MRC Research Fellow at the Wolfson Institute for Biomedical Research. Her research areas are mitochondrial mutations, human diseases and drug-resistant pathogens (website).

Dr Astrid Wingler is a Lecturer in Plant Biology at the Department of Biology. Her research areas are the regulation of leaf senescence, resource allocation and stress tolerance (website).
