Accessibility and Public Transport Research at UCL
Dynamic Information to Mobilise People with Learning Difficulties (DIMPLE)
Funding
Description
DIMPLE is investigating the feasibility of using video clips as a means
of providing journey information to people with learning difficulties.
We are investigating with a group of people with learning difficulties
what they need in terms of visual stimulus and the ways in which information
and instructions can be presented to them in a way that enables them to
be more independent when choosing and making journeys.
The research team is working with Hackney Community Transport on this
project.
