Biography:
Dr. Hyejin Ku is Associate Professor of Economics at University College London. She received her M.A. and Ph.D. in Economics at Cornell University, USA. Her research interests lie in the fields of labour economics and economic growth and development. Her research has contributed to understanding how the rapid economic growth in China in the recent decades impacted on the health outcomes of vulnerable populations in neighbouring countries through an econometric analysis of cross-border air pollution externalities.
