Job Vacancy: Teaching Fellow in Near East Archaeology

The UCL Institute of Archaeology currently has a vacancy for a Teaching Fellow in Near East Archaeology (Ref.:1869444). The deadline for applications is 20 September 2020.
A part-time (20%FTE) Teaching Fellow in Near East Archaeology is sought to contribute to high-quality teaching in Near Eastern archaeology, joining other staff who focus on the region and surrounding areas such as northern Africa, including Egypt, and the eastern Mediterranean.
The post-holder will primarily carry out teaching of an introductory-level BA module in Near East archaeology and will also assist in course development and undertake marking duties.
The successful candidate will be educated to PhD level in Near East archaeology or related disciplines. They will have experience of leading/convening an undergraduate taught module OR lecturing/providing tutorial support in a relevant field at the undergraduate level. Experience of research-led teaching is also essential as is experience of assessing student work at an undergraduate and graduate level.
