4 November 2011
Murray Fraser of the Bartlett School of Architecture has recently been appointed as the new Chair of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Research and Innovation Group.
This body is tasked with developing, applying and disseminating the research-based knowledge of RIBA members, chartered practices and schools of architecture in order to promote practice-based and academic-based research – and the links between the two – and to position the RIBA within the global context as a leading research facilitator for architecture and the related built environment professions.
Professor Fraser already serves on the RIBA Awards Group and the RIBA Library and Drawings Collection Committee.
