Paul Mellon Centre award for Yat Ming Loo

Dr Yat Ming Loo, teaching fellow in architectural history & theory at the Bartlett School of Architecture, has been awarded a grant from the prestigious Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art for his research on the Chinese community in London's Limehouse district, entitled "Tracing the Histories of London’s Limehouse Chinatown in China (1860 to 1960)". This research will also contribute to Yat Ming's forthcoming book The Chinese East End (English Heritage Publishing). 

In particular, the grant will help fund research conducted in China.
