SmoutAllen featured in The Architectural Review

Bartlett School of Architecture Senior Lecturers Mark Smout and Laura Allen (SmoutAllen) along with Sir Peter Cook are featured in a special May edition of The Architectural Review (AR) titled, Architecture & Representation.

The magazine features a discussion between Sir Peter Cook, Mark Smout, Laura Allen and Will Hunter, Deputy Editor at AR and a former Bartlett student, on drawing culture in architecture.

Describing the work of SmoutAllen, Laura says, "In the main we do ideas projects, so we can be indulgent or poetic with drawings and models in a way that production drawings can't be."

A drawing by Laura entitled Wet Lands is also featured on the front cover (pictured above).
