Awards success for The Bartlett's Josep Miàs

The Bartlett School of Architecture's MArch Architecture Unit 16 tutor Josep Miàs of Miàs Arquitectes has seen several awards successes in recent months.
For his Banyoles old town project in Girona he was recently awarded the International Stone Architecture Award as well as being shortlisted for the Urban Interventions Berlin Award 2013 and the Taipei International Design Award (final results for both are pending).
Miàs' Joan Puigbert School in Girona was nominated for European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies van der Rohe Award 2013, and his iGuzzini HQ, Barcelona was the winner of the Architizer A+ Awards 2013 in New York.
