The Bartlett Kiosk Showcases B-made Makers
8 November 2024
The Bartlett Kiosk at 22 Gordon Street reopens with a series of exhibits that highlight the innovative work of B-made staff.
B-made (The Bartlett Manufacturing and Design Exchange) is The Bartlett's team of staff and educational manufacturing workshops located across The Bartlett School of Architecture’s locations at 22 Gordon Street and 77 Wicklow Street in Bloomsbury, and UCL at Here East.
The facilities at B-made are available to staff and students for various projects including 3D printing, laser cutting, robotics, water jet cutting and audio-visual documentation. In addition to providing facilities and support, B-made team members also produce high-quality, inventive research into materials, tools and processes.
From 12 November 2024 to 24 January 2025, the school is celebrating innovative work by B-made staff with a Bartlett Kiosk takeover. The series of displays will highlight the contribution of B-made staff to the school’s culture of making, generating critical discourse about the value of making in research and education.
