The Bartlett School of Architecture is ranked #1 in the UK according to The Guardian University Guide 2025.

The school offers innovative teaching across a range of undergraduate, postgraduate and professional architecture programmes, delivered in state-of-the-art facilities across three London sites.

More than 400 staff from around the world teach at The Bartlett School of Architecture, with a community of over 1,700 students across all programmes.

Director of School, Professor Amy Kulper, said:

“I am proud that the school has been recognised as the best university in the UK for architectural education. This ranking reflects the dedication, hard work and talent of our diverse staff and student community, and our commitment to pushing the boundaries of architectural practice in an increasingly complex world that demands more of built environment practitioners.”

In April 2024, The Bartlett, UCL’s Faculty of the Built Environment, was also ranked #1 in the world for Architecture and the Built Environment in the QS World University Rankings by Subject.
