Africa Centre/I-Sense

Overview
CASA is partnering with I-sense and the Africa Centre for Population Health to develop a suite of dashboards visualising data from HIV prevention trials taking place at the centre in real time. Real time data visualisation allows operational staff at the Africa Centre to monitor and track the progress of ongoing trials, to refine project operations.
Reacting to conditions as they change on the ground rather then waiting for a data collection cycle to end. The use of dashboards in a population health platform can aid the detection of hotspots of infection, coordinate targeted intervention and encourage data sharing between trials. The project gives staff at the centre a means to display the progress of a study in manner that does not risk the privacy of trial participants.
