The event will host academics and professionals in the legal and built environment to discuss legal and business developments in ESG and the construction industry. This event is open for UCL students, academics and alumni who are interested in the topics that will be discussed during the day.

The event will consist of a panel chaired by Dr Armando Castro that will oversee six speakers from UCL and the construction industry who discuss a wide-range of topics. The first three speakers will be:

- Dr Kell Jones, who will present ESG Reporting and the Latest Sustainability Regulatory Developments in the Built Environment

- Mohamad El Daouk, who will present ‘Social Impact through Construction Law Education: Construction and the Built Environment new textbook’ 

- Professor Aeli Roberts, who will present ‘Health and Safety in Construction.

The second group of speakers will consist of Ciaran William, Julian Bailey and Laura Ludlow, who will cover ESG legal topics ranging from energy and construction disputes to public nuisance, green clauses and greenwashing risks.

9:30 – 10:30 – Insight of UCL latest research on ESG, Law and the Built Environment.
