School of Construction and Project Management top for ‘Building’ in Complete University Guide 2017
10 May 2016
For the second year running, UCL’s Bartlett School of Construction and Project Management has been ranked first in the UK’s Complete University Guide 2017 for ‘building’ as subject area, thanks to the continued excellence of the BSc Project Management for Construction programme.
The annual league table is developed using ten measures: student satisfaction, research quality, research intensity, entry standards, staff-to-student ratio, spending on academic services, spending on student facilities, honours degrees achieved, and graduate prospects and completion.
The subject area scored particularly high in graduate prospects, and student satisfaction – and reflected on the high quality of graduates produced by the school.
Dr Aeli Roberts, Course Director for BSc Project Management for Construction commented, “The ongoing success of the BSc Project Management for Construction programme reflects the continued satisfaction of our students, which we believe is due to the good relationship between teaching staff and students, who we get to know well. We are fortunate that the construction and management industries are always willing to engage and help us, enriching the learning experience. Most importantly, however, we have brilliant, proactive students who have helped us make the course what it is – one that produces graduates that these industries want to employ”.
