UCL-Energy student joins panel of sustainability experts
8 May 2012
UCL-Energy PhD student Tia Kansara is to join a panel of sustainability experts on a discussion panel to celebrate the launch of ‘The Banana Theory Installation’.
The installation, which will be launched on Monday 21 May at Chelsea College of Art & Design, communicates notions of sustainability, and demonstrates the difficulties faced when deciding how to change lifestyle to become greener. This was the winning scheme of a competition between Chelsea College of Art & Design's MA Interior and Spatial Design students and UCL's Engineering Doctorate students in Urban Sustainability & Resilience.
Tia will be joined on the discussion panel by Chris Church, Government Advisor on Sustainable Development, Richard Jackson, Head of UCL Environmental Sustainability and Prof Kay Politowicz of CCW Sustainability Drive as they debate the role of personal responsibility and whether it can make a difference or not to the sustainability of the planet.
