The Bartlett School of Environment, Energy and Resources has an exciting opportunity for a Postgraduate Research Programmes Administrator.

Job summary

The Postgraduate Research Programmes Administrator will join our administrative team to support over 130 PhD students at various stages of their programme of study.

Working in conjunction with the Departmental Graduate Tutor (Research), the post-holder will provide effective administrative support for all matters relating to the teaching and learning activities of postgraduate research students, from enquiry and admissions through the duration of their PhD to completion and graduation. They will deliver an outstanding customer service to prospective students, academic staff and students.

This post is available immediately and is funded until 16 February 2020 to cover a secondment.

Key Requirements

Our ideal candidate will be educated to A-level standard, must be efficient, organised and take great care in attention to detail. In addition, the role requires interaction with many people within and external to UCL, thus a professional attitude, willingness to help and a positive outlook are required in order to adequately execute the duties outlined.

This post would ideally suit an administrator looking to gain experience in a busy teaching and research environment, develop an understanding of postgraduate research administration, and have an opportunity to contribute to the success of a world-leading School. Applications from those currently working in postgraduate taught programme roles looking to expand their experience are strongly encouraged.
