ISH paper on smells of history receives extensive media coverage

On Friday 7 April 2017, Cecilia Bembibre and Matija Strlič’s paper ‘Smell of heritage: a framework for the identification, analysis and archival of historic odours’ was published in Heritage Science.
The paper looks at the role of olfaction in heritage, from identifying smells with historic value to exploring how Heritage Science can contribute to understanding and preserving them.
Cecilia and Matija’s research paper has already received significant media exposure from The Times, Daily Mail, Atlas Obscura, Japan Times, Smithsonian Magazine and in the BBC London News and the BBC Breakfast Show.
