“A sustainable world already exists. We just need to learn from it and innovate.” Janine Benyus, author of Biomimicry: Innovation Inspired by Nature.

Nature provides man the inspiration and example for creation and designing. Research has shown that here are limitless ideas that can solve the problems human face today through the imitation nature designs and processes. Nature provides humans not only the opportunity but also the mirror from which humans can create nature motivated innovations based on specific principles which include:

1. Nature as a model: Study nature’s models and emulate these forms, process, systems, and strategies to solve human problems.

2. Nature as measure: Use an ecological standard to judge the sustainability of our innovations.

3. Nature as mentor: View and value nature not based on what we can extract from the natural world, but what we can learn from it.

Fast Forward 2030 helps impact entrepreneurs solve problems. At this co-creation session, three impact entrepreneurs from Africa, Lebanon and the UK will share short stories about their business before challenging the audience to come up with creative thought provoking questions to the complex problems their businesses are solving.
