Professor Jacqui Glass appointed as Dean of The Bartlett

Professor Jacqui Glass has been appointed as Dean of The Bartlett, UCL’s Faculty of the Built Environment, having held the interim Dean position since April 2024.

Professor Jacqui Glass has held the interim position of Dean of The Bartlett since April 2024 when the previous Dean, Professor Christoph Lindner, moved to a new role as President and Vice-Chancellor of the Royal College of Art. She was previously Vice-Dean Research for The Bartlett faculty, where she led The Bartlett’s unique, multidisciplinary research community.

Professor Jacqui Glass said:

“I am thoroughly honoured and delighted to be appointed as the Dean of The Bartlett. Having had the privilege of leading the faculty as interim Dean since April, I have been deeply inspired by our students and staff, who come together from all around the world to take on our shared mission to build a better future for all. I’m sincerely grateful for this remarkable opportunity to lead such a diverse scholarly community and work with them in the years to come to continue to achieve great things.”
