Bennett Prize awarded to Prof. Mike Raco

20 March 2013

Prof Mike Raco

Professor Mike Raco of The Bartlett School of Planning has been awarded the prestigious Bennett Prize for his contribution (alongside Dr Wen I-Lin) to a paper published in 2012 in the Environment and Planning C journal. The paper is entitled "Urban sustainability, conflict management and the geographies of postpoliticism: a case study of Taipei".

Prof Raco’s motivation for the paper came from his research interest in urban governance and frustrations about recent writings on this subject. The Bennett Prize is awarded to the best paper published in the journal and is selected following a rigorous peer-review process. The full paper will be available on The Bartlett School of Planning website shortly.
