Ambikesh Sharma is a student in the 2021-22 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).
After studying literature for his bachelor's, Ambikesh imagined life beyond college as both a grave responsibility and a wonderful opportunity, to realise what he has always dreamt of: changing the world for the better. Working with organisations such as UNDP, WWF-India, and PFI, he pushed himself towards different challenging roles in the development space. A Tedx Speaker, Ambikesh has been a popular name in the poetry circuit in India, and has received the Delhi Youth Award for Literature. He is also the founder of You’re Wonderful Project, a non-governmental organisation working on issues pertaining to mental health awareness and accessibility. He holds varying interests ranging from Political Philosophy, Literature, Modern Art and Permaculture Design. He envisions a future that is inclusive, equitable and sustainable, and is hopeful to apply his learnings from IIPP MPA towards this end.
