Hideki Okamoto

Hideki Okamoto was a student in the 2019 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).

Hideki is a government official at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan. While studying economics at the University of Tokyo, he developed an interest in industrial policy. After he received a MSc Behavioural Science at the University of Nottingham, Hideki became a Masters student at IIPP. His goal is to draw a new, sustainable, inclusive and innovative industrial picture of Japan which helps the world to become more beautiful.
