Laura Rondón Lizarazo is a student in the 2021-22 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).
Laura studied International Relations in Bogotá, Colombia. She has dedicated her career to bring governments closer to citizens by consolidating more effective models to improve the interactions of public servants with citizens, at different times and scenarios, thus facilitating access of people to public information and services. She is also interested in how entities can take advantage of the value generated by participation and accountability in their management and planning strategies. Laura is looking forward to studying new ways institutions can engage citizens to co-create public goods, considering that generating public value is not an exclusive task of the state.
