Lee Campbell is a student in the 2021-22 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).
Lee is a George Moore Scholar and holds a B.A. in Computer Science from Trinity College Dublin. Building on his background in Computer Science, Lee is passionate about exploring the relationship between emerging dilemmas in digital technology (such as misinformation, artificial intelligence, platform economy, security etc.) and public value. More broadly, Lee is also interested in the dynamic capabilities, strategic design tools and heterodox economic perspectives needed to deliver digital transformation and mission-orientated innovation. Before joining IIPP, Lee held roles at Web Summit and in Product Management at Microsoft. From this perspective, Lee is also passionate about understanding how policy can positively shape the choices that are made about the design and use of technology and how in turn, government structures can allow new technologies to shape policy.
