Meaghan Hecksher is a student in the 2020-21 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).
Meaghan is originally from San Francisco, California and attended university at Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. She majored in Art History and minored in Philosophy. While at Boston College, she developed an interest in social work and spent three years serving at a Boys & Girls Club in Boston. After graduating, Meaghan started working in the Prints & Multiples department at Sotheby’s in New York. She was the administrator in the department for over two years. Aside from her interest in the arts, Meaghan enjoys being active. She is looking forward to exploring outdoor activities in the UK.
