Miren Aintzane Lorca Urarte

Miren Aintzane Lorca Urarte was a student in the 2019 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).

Aintzane is from Chile, and before joining the MPA she worked in the Chilean Congress as chief of staff for a well-known Congressman, promoting key agendas in education and quality of democracy. Previously, she was sustainability manager in the Chilean educational NGO Educación 2020, promoting collaboration among public, private and third sector actors.

She holds a degree in Economics and Management from the Universidad Católica de Chile. She performed as vice president at the Student Union in the School of Economics, and later she joined the Board of the Student Union of the University.

Also, Aintzane is alumni of the U.S. Department of State's Premier Professional Exchange Programme (IVLP).
