Riedwaan Fakier is a student in the 2020-21 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).
Riedwaan is interested solving global problems through the use of technology. He has a Masters in Strategy and Innovation from Maynooth University in Ireland under the Kader Asmal Ireland Fellowship. Riedwaan was part of South Africa's Top 100 Future Leaders in 2017 and was selected to represent South Africa in the Sir Abe Bailey Leadership Tour in Ethiopia and the UK in 2018. He has experience working in Financial Services on one of the largest digital transformation projects in Africa and has been the head of Digital and Marketing at a non-profit sports and educational organisation in South Africa.
