Julian Moreno Baron

Julian Moreno Baron is a student in the 2024-25 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).

Julian is an economist who has been the local mayor of Suba, Bogotá. He has an MSc in Public Policy, and his main interests are government transparency, productive inclusion, sustainable development, and human rights. As mayor, he has developed some innovative local initiatives, such as participative budgets, which have been recognised and awarded by some international organisations.
