Jack O'Connor is a student in the 2024-25 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).
Jack seeks to expand his understanding of innovation policy, systemic design, and capacity development for future-ready citizens. He is eager to learn from organisations focused on policies and technologies for radical societal improvements through research, investment, and incubation. During his undergraduate studies, Jack worked on social innovation projects, including improving farming practices in Malawi, and advocated for youth development as a UN Youth Delegate and through the Washington Ireland Program. He recently worked at the University of Limerick’s Centre for Sustainable Futures and Innovation, developing mission-oriented student programmes. His long-term goal is to strengthen Ireland’s public policy capacity for lasting impact.
