Passionate about social impact, innovation, and education, Mariana has over eight years of experience implementing educational public policy programs for local governments across Brazil. Having worked with organizations such as UNDP, the Lemann Foundation, and the Gesto Institute, her career has been marked by adaptability, from supporting Amazonian communities in designing locally relevant education policies to navigating the bureaucracies of Brazil’s strategic states to enhance teacher training, which led to the post-COVID learning recovery of 60,000 students. Recently, she has been exploring how to deliver public value through the private sector and the challenges of building mission-driven organizations. Mariana is currently pursuing the IIPP MPA degree through the Chevening Award Scholarship.
