Ashton Mullins is a student in the 2024-25 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).
Following various roles across Investment Banking & Corporate Finance (JP Morgan, Phoenix Equity Partners), Ashton made a decision to pursue a career to support a range of cultural organisations (charities, social enterprises, grassroots organisations and councils). Ashton currently works at Foundation for Future London. As Grants & Programme Manager, he oversees development of a portfolio of grant programmes, interdisciplinary collaborations and partnerships as part of the Foundation’s investment in arts and culture and placemaking across East London. Ashton is interested in the relationship between innovation, the private sector and grassroots organisations, and how new ways of doing and thinking collaboratively about governance and decision making might allow us to draw more effectively on the value of culture to address social issues.
