UCL-Oxford Vax-Hub participation in Festival of The Girl 2023

A joint Outreach team from UCL Biochemical Engineering and the Oxford Pandemic Sciences Institute had a fun day at this year’s Festival of The Girl on Saturday 21 October to help promote better representation of girls in STEM

Three hands-on activities were used to simulate:

The role of filtration processes in vaccine manufacture
The separation of blood cells in the lab
The effects of arthritis
