The Vaccines Manufacturing Hub for LMICs (Vax-Hub Global) received funding for four and a half years with a £10 million grant from the DHSC and the EPSRC. Launched in September 2023 and co-directed by Prof Martina Micheletti (UCL) and Dr Cath Green (Oxford University), Vax-Hub Global aims to improve global health, with a focus on LMICs, through work on:

• Flexible, easily transferable, multi-product technologies
• Integrated engineering solutions, including microfluidics, to automate manufacturing
• Technologies with a simplified regimen, extended shelf life and manufactured with reduced waste
