Harry Christmas - Harry Baker and Special Guests

World Poetry Slam Champion Harry Baker loves Christmas. And he loves Bloomsbury Theatre. And (some of) you love him enough to have sold out three shows here in October (!). Henceforth by (surprisingly) popular demand he is coming out of paternity leave for one night only to swap fatherhood for Father Christmas as he PRESENTs to you some brand new poems, some festive faves, and some extra special guests, including a live recording of a Christmassy episode of his beloved podcast Something Borrowed. All he wants for Christmas is you (to come along so that they let him do this again).

Rob Auton
Rob is a poet and a comedian and a wonderful soul. He has written ten different solo shows about everything from the colour yellow, sleep, the sky, faces, and most recently Rob Auton. He’s the first person on my list to see when I am up there. He has my favourite poem about Christmas and I booked him for this immediately after reading his latest newsletter because it reminded me how brilliant he is.

Georgie Jones
Georgie is my new favourite poet. She is very funny and very poignant which is honestly the dream combo. I was lucky enough to perform with her in Bath earlier in the year and she was so good I frankly had to up my game so I’m fully prepared to take that risk and have to do the same again.

Josh Idehen
Josh lives in SWEDEN now. When I first started my Something Borrowed podcast during lockdown I did an episode with Josh and he provided enough warmth and energy through the tiny screen of a whole audience and it honestly kept me going for weeks. He is charisma personified and we are very lucky to have him.

World Poetry Slam Champion Harry Baker is a poet and a maths graduate. He writes about important stuff like hope, dinosaurs and German falafel-spoons.
