The Institute will be led by an appointed Director, currently Professor Aikaterini Fotopoulou, who will be supported by a board of EDI experts representing all Divisions and Institutes of the Faculty, and together they will ensure that the Institute will foster and support an impactful network of FBS researchers working to promote understanding and interdisciplinary solutions regarding EDI challenges in science, academia, the health and technology sectors and beyond. To realise this vision, the Director of the ERB Institute will work with the Faculty Vice Deans of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and of Research to lead the launch, organisation, expansion and running of the Institute, with the support of the Faculty Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Manager and their team. The Institute will also work with the Faculty’s research coordinators and communications team to ensure the contents of the Institute’s research projects and communications aligns with UCL’s principles.
