iPSC Methylome

Project Leader: Lee Butcher

Induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC) are pluripotent cells derived from reprogramming of non-pluripotent cells such as fibroblast or blood cells. iPSC have great potential for regenerative and therapeutic medicine. The aim of this project is to assess the efficiency of different reprogramming protocols using whole-genome DNA methylation (methylome) analysis.

iPSC Methylome

The UCL Cancer Institute, University of Cambridge, CellCentric, Sigma-Aldrich and TAP embark on a collaboration (CellCentric Press Release) to define markers of epigenetic reprogramming, supported by £1.1m from the UK Governmentís Technology Strategy Board.
