Supervisors: Professor Perry Elliott and Dr Petros Syrris
My Background
Cardiology registrar at Barts Heart Centre, St. Bartholomew’s Hospital. Special interest in Interventional Cardiology and in Inherited Cardiovascular Diseases. As part of the largest inherited cardiovascular diseases unit in the UK, I have been fortunate to have had considerable clinical exposure to a large number of patients with inherited cardiomyopathies including Hypertrophic and Dilated cardiomyopathies. My interest in understanding the genetic mechanisms of diseases had led me to undertake clinical research and in specific understanding the role Titin mutations play in different cardiomyopathies.
