Team XCEL wins the 2023-24 third Year Capstone Design Project Team Award

The award, sponsored by the department, is presented to the group who demonstrated that they were a highly functional team, able to support and encourage each other while completing the group stages of the design project, overcoming difficulties and conflicts, and improving the team-work experience for all team members. Team Xcel, together with other teams, entered the competition by submitting an essay demonstrating how well they worked as a team. They were declared winners by a departmental panel and the students have been presented with their certificates.

This award underpins the importance of engineers working effectively within a team, respecting each other, valuing everyone’s opinion, being flexible and finding a compromise in case of differing opinions. Many congratulations once again to the team that Xcelled this year!
