Seng Hoe (Billy) Hue

Billy’s research interests are in the characterisation of non-Newtonian fluid flow inside microfluidic devices. Specifically, the displacement of two or more non-miscible fluid inside a microchannel. With his master’s research in a similar field, he has decent knowledge in the study of fluid dynamics and the hydrodynamical behaviours of fluids. With his funding from PETRONAS, his key research goal is to apply the fundamental understanding of these flow phenomena in the area of enhanced oil recovery.

Besides research, Billy is also a postgraduate teaching assistant for multiple undergraduate modules including Design & Professional Skills and Engineering Experimentation*.
