On-demand self-paced courses

We now have self-paced versions of many of our courses. These can be completed in your own time, and at your own pace.

Just like our live courses, these are designed for anyone wanting to understand or undertake statistical analysis. No prior knowledge is assumed on our introductory course (Introduction to Research Methods and Statistics), and they primarily focus on practical knowledge as opposed to theory and mathematical formulae. Everyone is welcome to sign up, including those based outside UCL.

Each course includes full electronic notes, short lecture videos (recorded outside of the classroom), interactive quizzes in a variety of formats. They include unlimited support through a forum that will be manned by one of our lecturers. Note that questions can only relate directly to the course materials and should not be used as a consultancy service for your own projects. Personalised certificates will be generated on completion.

* Knowledge of basic statistical concepts is required/beneficial; we recommend the Introduction to Research Methods and Statistics course if you have little / no previous statistics experience. This course offers a good basis for all other CASC courses.

^ We recommend attending the Introduction to Regression Analysis course first if you have no prior experience of regression analyses.
