Conference Reception

We have negotiated with the venue and catering teams, and reduced the fees (without affecting the food&drink provision). Now the fees are £35 for students and £50 for standard participants.

Conference Reception of Transit Data 2024 will take place at London Transport Museum on Tuesday 02 July.

We will private-hire the ground floor space of the museum after their usual opening hours to the public. The guests can see around the exhibitions without interference by the general public, while enjoying drinks and canapes/bowl food.

We hope that the museum collections (including real transport vehicles from the rich transport history of London) will stimulate your discussion with other participants and inspire your future research and innovations. The museum is situated at the heart of the city (Covent Garden), so this may give an opportunity to experience a long summer day of London as well (the sunset will be at 21:20).

The event will start at 18:30.

Now the fees are £35 for students and £50 for standard participants. The fees will include entry to the museum. Those who have paid the previous prices will get refund for the differences to the new price. 

Information to get the reception venue can be found here. It would take around 45 minutes from the symposium venue of Tuesday to Transport Museum.

If you wish to attend the reception but the expense policy of your organisation does not allow expenditure to a reception or drink/meal, please contact the conference organiser.
