We run department taster days for anyone who is thinking of applying for our Classics and the Ancient World BA.
Our taster days are for students from Year 11 to Year 13 and anyone who is considering applying for our undergraduate degree.
Our department taster days usually last around two to three hours and provide:
- lectures on the history, archaeology, languages and literature of Greece, Rome, Egypt and the Near and Middle East
- opportunities to hear staff from the department of Greek and Latin, UCL History, and the Institute of Archaeology talking about their subject
- talks by current students about their experiences at UCL
- opportunities to speak informally to members of staff and current students
- tours of the department and the university campus
